Oh ! My God Story NO. 67

The light and the shadow of New York

New York is a town where you can find many gorgeous shops.
You must surely think that way.
But you will find that it is not always true once you get here.

I suggest that you take a tour on an alley

from a main street of many gorgeous shops.
You will find many down-to-earth general stores

as opposed to gorgeous shops.
This was one of the things that surprised me when I came to New York.

Most of these general stores are owned by immigrants.
They are South American, Middle Eastern,

South East Asian, Chinese and Korean people.

The flashy and bright side and the poor and shabby side,

New York is a mixture of both yin and yang.

Oh ! My God.
