My private English lessons - part8 　

　　　　Happening

In the first and the second year of my life in America,
　I often experience things like this.
I usually have an interpreter when I have an important meeting with Americans.
I always ask Yoshino to interpret for me.
Yoshino is an excellent interpreter.

But she often comes late.
I think she comes late on purpose.
I'm sure that it is true
　because she says she's never late except for me.

So, what do I do when she is late?
I must speak English with Americans by myself.
The longest time that I spoke with Americans by myself
　was about thirty minutes.
It was very hard.

I use all English words that I know
　from my limited vocabulary and manage to have a conversation.

When Yoshino arrives, I will ask her to see
　if Americans have understood what I have said.
Most of the time, they understand what I want to say.

Of course, I never say anything difficult.
Yoshino is a wonderful teacher who takes her student all the way to take a chance to grow.
